SUNSET COVE HOME OWNERS ASSOCIATION, INC. BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEETING

PRESENT:            Felicia Erskine, President

                              David Weisbaum, Vice President

                              Mohamad Kamaredine,  Treasurer

                              Andre Hardy, Director

                              Jamel Lopez, Director

                              Nancy Zimmer, Director

 

ABSENT:               Walt MacDonald, Secretary

 

HOME OWNERS PRESENT: 19+  Homeowners

 

Carol Garcia EPM Property manager present.

Motion made by Andre and seconded by David to accept the minutes from the Meeting held on December 18, 2018.

Felicia reported that the damages to the building at the swimming pool were to be completed January 16,2019.

Felicia reported that the pressure cleaning and sealing of the swimming pool pavers was completed by Robert Tinker AKA Star Pressure Cleaning and that they were “perfect looking”.

Felicia reported that the legal team would send a letter concerning the street damage by “The Grounds Group” in the amount of $7,500.00 in damages.

Felicia went over the Financials and reported that there was a surplus of $81,000. for items that were not completed during the last year. 

Walt MacDonald resigned from the board, a motion to accept his resignation was made by Jamel and David seconded the motion all members voted to confirm the motion.

Felicia made a motion that Vickie Hooke be made a member of the board and it was seconded by Nancy, all members of the board were in favor.

ARB Chairman is George Platica along with two new volunteers Milton (Mac) McConnell and Michael Alpert.

Carol was asked to have DEO do a check on the sprinklers of Peter Tsia’s house at 10060 NW 3 Street and the houses on each side because the grass and bushes are turning brown.

At this time the Board voted to restructure the officers of the Board, a vote was taken to elect Nancy Zimmer President, the vote was 4 yes votes and 3 no votes. So Nancy Zimmer was voted to be the President of Sunset Cove Home Owners Association.

Motion by Vickie for Andre to be secretary and seconded by Mohamed all members approved.

Motion to adjourn by Andre seconded by Vickie and all members voted to adjourn.
